When English Confuses:

Is it a can or a tin?
It matters not what is within
Is it a bottle or jar?
I’m leaving the meaning ajar
Is it a rug or a mat?
I try to put it where it’s at
A mirror or a looking glass?
think I’ll let that one pass
Is it a tune or a song
By which we will all hum along?
Is it midday or just noon?
Either way it comes by as soon
Is a book to read or read?
I don’t care what anyone said
This language becomes double dutch
When english confuses too much.
