Five and a Half Years of Hell
Chris Ashton
Chemotherapy for bowel cancer can be daunting; the side effects from treatment are both mentally and physically exhausting, sometimes shattering patients for days or even weeks until the effects start to wear off.
Five and a Half Years of Hell is taken from my autobiography. It identifies three triggers that may improve the quality of life for bowel cancer sufferers when receiving chemotherapy. These three most important triggers were found by me through heart-breaking experiences: food types, stress, and travel. These were making life impossible for my wife Jill.
This is the true account of my findings. Hopefully it will help those who need it.
