The Logan West region has a long and fascinating history, and one we're proud to highlight in this new and updated edition of Stories Of The People, Places And Events That Shaped Logan West.

This new edition adds more than 20 new stories on Logan West's past; everything from pioneering explorers to devasting floods to early industry.

This isn't intended to be an academic work but rather an accessible, readable work for anyone interested in the region's history - there are a few "slices of life" pieces in these pages, stories related via people's recollections from their childhoods, and so on. The region has a vibrant history and it simply hasn't been possible to include everything in this edition - but the good news is that covering the area's history is an ongoing project for Logan West News and we are confident future editions of this book will cover even more of the region's past events, places and people.
