Andrew Caro has bustled through life, that is, until he retired over 20 years ago. School, scruffy army conscript, lazy student, lucky marriage, indifferent, often absent father, stuck briefly at the bottom of the greasy pole of business success, sent to Australia where he found at last a place that seemed to suit him and the family. Success in senior management led to CEO of Packer’s great cricket adventure – WSC - Partner in advertising Agency, before seguing into retirement as an academic lecturer and then what - reflection and contemplation which led to 12 self-published books. So as a nonagenarian though not – I think – yet in my dotage here are my last words – in print at least. When I reflect on my life so far I hardly recognise whom I have become.
