Casey Hewes is happy with her life. She has taken a leap of faith and quits her job to run her own business from home. She and her two best friends take a four-day girl's trip to Sydney, where Casey's life is turned sideways when she meets Vaughn Reed, the lead singer for an up-and-coming rock band, currently on tour in Australia. Their attraction is immediate and intense, but Casey has to go back home while Vaughn continues the band's touring schedule. They both realize the issues at hand -- how is this ever going to work?

The story of Casey and Vaughn figuring it out is the crux of the book. No drama or unnecessary sappiness; the situations they face are well written, especially the depictions of what life on the road is like for a band.

I loved all the characters, including the settings of Australia and Canada, as they threaded throughout the story. Easy-breezy, quick read that hits all the right notes.

Well written, great humor, and feel-good vibes on this one! Made me feel all warm and fuzzy!

"Homesick, what did that really mean? Could you be homesick for a place that never felt like home to begin with? To me, homesick meant missing someone you love, someone you are not whole without."
