Great gift idea for 2-8yr olds

I gave all of my nephews and niece's a set, they all love them and are learning to read the books themselves.

I love these books and the opportunity it creates to start conversations with young people about respectful relationships with the natural world.

Publication of these books is the culmination of several years of writing, re-writing and re-doing illustrations. Alyssa's passion for the environment is evident in every page.
Each sentence is supported by a gorgeous watercolor painting. My favorite is the guinea pig in "I Could be a Pet".
These are ideal books to promote Interest in and respect for nature. Great for family reading but work well in a group setting. Each book has questions to promote further discussion. I would love to still be teaching so I could use them.
