A good read, an easy read, delightful. Loved the puns, so many of them, very clever play on words.
This book paves the way for a sequel no doubt.
This is a really interesting book unlike anything I have ever read. Every page is filled with pun-filled conversations with the two main characters Jack and his uncle trying desperately to verbally outmanoeuvre each other while consuming a bottle of Penfolds 707 Cabernet and a sumptuous lunch. Set against the glorious backdrop of South Australia's Aldinga Beach the story unfolds over the course of a single Christmas Day. An insightful examination of the family dynamics of a family where some members might be just too funny for their own good.
