Appeals to all ages

This beautiful book targets school age children so they can learn about Australian birds and animals and what they eat in the wild. But this book can be a gift for people of any age who can appreciate Young’s meticulous artwork and the clever way the book’s laid out. We can all learn something from this book. I’d like to see it in all Australian primary school libraries.

This Book Is Amazing

When I first got given this book by my father I thought that it was a bit to young for me. I was completely wrong. This book is great for all ages and has lots of little details that really make it stand out such as the Latin names for everything and the way the author has drawn everything herself including the different meals of the animals which I think lots of little kids will like and will spend hours pouring over this book. Five stars.

Not what I expected to see

Absolutely great to see a well illustrated and informative book on Australian fauna that allows young children and their parents to both learn about what our native animals eat and to quess what they eat looks like. A very good book for the whole family to compete with one another in finding the answers to questions asked.

amazing animals

I like this book because it teaches you about the animals but also gives a let in for younger audiences with the spotting the food and guessing parts. I love the book and I am proud of my grandma for writing this book
