Unloved, bullied and neglected Freddy D Fender is saved by Captain Andy and finds his forever home aboard the beautiful sailing yacht Dreamchaser.  But tragically, just as Freddy D feels he truly belongs, is safe and loved, he is lost at sea.

Fearful, lonely, and adrift in the tumult of a vast ocean Freddy D wonders if he will find the strength and courage to carry on and how he is ever to find his way home to his beloved Dreamchaser.

Daunted but not to be put off Freddy forges ahead, carried along on mysterious underwater currents he learns that life is much like the sea with its ups and downs, that being different is of no real importance, that friends are precious, to never give up and that not everything or everyone is what they seem.
